Remember that BHX Only have 4 388 comparable stands (I believe??) ...only 1x has double level air bridges, only 2 have air bridge access with the other 2 being remote.

Anything more than 2x 388s on the ground tomorrow may be manageable but pretty horrific for pax! By the looks of it, BHX could be in line to receive 4x EK 388s through the day tomorrow!

Wondering if any other A380 will be diverted apart from the expected one.....I.e. BA, that would be wonderful to see at Birmingham.

I would guess that Emirates will have first refusal on any available A380 'slots'. Anyway, BA would probably rather crash-land them in the Thames than send them north.

Looking through the LHR arrivals on FR24, all of the EK flighs are shown as 'scheduled'. AI131 however is showing as 'diverted'.
So BHX may still get that flight if it has been re-scheduled.

Further to this, AI130 LHR - BOM is showing as 'cancelled'. Whilst an AI130 is showing BHX - BOM, departing 14.00.

Air India should still be coming with VT-ALQ due around 11:36.

EK8031 is still on BHX arrivals but may now go direct to LHR.

VT-ALQ will be at BHX around 1130
BHX was going to take 2 X EK388 and at least one TK321 but I believe now all canx.

Obviously not going to happen now, but BHX arrivals shows THREE extra Emirates A380's pencilled in for today EK7,29,31. We'll probably never know if they were all going to drop in, but imagine 5 A380's in one day!

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
