Interestingly TK’s IST current expansion plans for 2023 seem to contain no new UK destinations. I would guess BRS, NCL and GLA would be the most likely in any future expansion. I cannot see TK at LBA except possibly in some form to AYT.

Nope. Although they still haven't gone away. Their website says they are working on the winter schedule so please check back later.

Good shout but looking at their destination list they don't serve Pakistan. That would be a severely missed opportunity.

Its been a good week in the route development room!
Id like to see abit more now from flybe with perhaps a base here at LBA. South Coast destinations and perhaps french routes would be nice.

Yep - probably just as BE mk2 is pretty much a carbon copy of mk1 so not sure either is any worse than the other there

My new airline guess would be either Turkish based Low cost airline Anadolujet or Pakistan based airline Air Sial, both carriers do NOT currently operate into Manchester.

Now if we talking a UK based airline that currently serves LBA, surely its got to be Flybe?

Play are about to start LPL, would be great to see LBA added to their network, think we are screaming a regular service to KEF. Jet2 putting on more and more, but we have potential for a full service, especially if Pax can connect to USA.

IPS are to set up a virtual base at LBA for their virtual aircraft. At least there won’t be any problem with parking space.
