Highly probable for logistical purposes, BHX will be the departure point for team but sponsorship deals may dictate airline, FA or carrier needs to depart elsewhere. Hope it's BA or QANTAS special service ex BHX.

I would say a Virgin Atlantic plane is more likely than BA or QANTAS as the mens’ team used Virgin in 2022 for the World Cup.Highly probable for logistical purposes, BHX will be the departure point for team but sponsorship deals may dictate airline, FA or carrier needs to depart elsewhere. Anyone have Airport action Email address?
I am thinking about going to do some plane spotting at BHX next week. Where would be the best place to go? I’ll most likely take public transport as I don’t want to pay the expensive airport parking fees.
Depending on which runway is in use and what sort of view you are after I'd say the best choices are either the train to Birmingham International then a stroll to the viewing spot in car park 5 or the train to Marston Green and a walk down to Sheldon Country Park. Depending on where you are coming from there may also busses to both locations.
They flew on Qantas out of Heathrow yesterday. The England women's football team will be leaving for Australia soon ( Women's World Cup). As they are currently training at St George's Park, Burton on Trent, does anyone know if they will follow the men's tradition of leaving from BHX?. If so, when?.
I wonder how the arrival process coped, hopefully it went O.K. as the airport and and service operators had plenty of notice.
I’m thinking of going around lunchtime to catch EK, QR and SV. Tomorrow would probably be quite busy so I’d rather go next week. Which runway is generally in use around that time? I’m guessing I’ll have to check on the day in case there are any changes due to weather or any other circumstances.

I do always do though. What’s so annoying about writing movements is that there’s always that extra flight or 2 that gets added the next morning and seriously rattles mePolite request.
It's been an exciting few days for BHX and it's great to see so much enthusiasm on this forum
Going forward could we please put expected aircraft movements in the 'BHX Movements and Heads Up' thread, rather than in each individual airline thread.
Please note that this is a general request and not directed at any one individual. I just feel that the forum would be much more user friendly if those wanting to know a particular days comings & goings had it all in one place, this then leaves each of the individual airline threads for news.
Many thanks in advance for your co-operation.

By 'earlier', I assume you mean today. If you view Airport Actions video from today, you will see that it was all filmed from Sheldon Country Park. So, if you did see it today, whoever was on the step ladder was not Airport Action. Airport Action were recently moved on from car park 5, when the airport found out that the video was monetised. The airport seems more tolerant of enthusiasts who are just taking personal photos/videos.I know I’m gonna get my head snapped off for posting this but going past A45 earlier towards NEC I seen a few people standing on the mound .Specifically one person on a ladder. Now I’m not saying it’s allowed or not but I feel like it’s one rule for airport action and one rule for others and also where are the signs that say it’s prohibited and it is airport property? It really baffles me
no it wasn’t airport action. It was someone else.I actually feel for airport action that they can’t stream from the mound. This is why it’s one rule for them and another for someone else.At the moment it’s for the public to use. It’s not airport property until I see signs or notices from the airport it’s self.By 'earlier', I assume you mean today.
