Anything from Wales’ favourite media outlet yet? Or is it too positive for them?

Nothing that i've seen, Nation Cymru covered the new routes but i haven't seen anything from WOL or BBC news.

No surprise, but BFS has been removed as a destination on the website. Solid confirmation that it won’t feature in the S24 schedule.

Sounds positive. Its a shame the other away game is London. I wonder if next season we will see extensive flights to Edinburgh, Paris and Rome?

Idk where they got 50 from? Between Ryanair and Aer Lingus there'll be 16 departures that weekend.

50 flights mentioned in the latest news page on CWL site, perhaps 9 more have been added to the previous release.

Hmm, I can’t see any additional flights from the usual suspects. Between Friday and Monday both Ryanair and Aer Lingus have 8 x 2 flights. Perhaps they’ve included charter flights in that number. Going to have a snoop around.

They must be including charter flights and I expect they're including departures and arrivals.

I wonder if they mean return flights rather than flights departing only? Not at all clear

Looks like Ryanair are starting to load winter 2024/25, it's not onsale yet but it looks like we'll see Dublin 4 weekly Sunday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday with better morning and afternoon times. Tenerife will be1 weekly on Fridays. Nothing loaded for Alicante, Malaga or Faro but they could come later on if Ryanair is minded to operate them.

I was looking just yesterday and didn’t see anything.

I wonder if Faro will be added for the winter - given it was up in the air whether they would even operate this summer.

I can't see Faro operating through the winter, i just don't think it's viable enough for Ryanair as a winter route. Hopefully we might see something else maybe something Lanzarote from them.

Faro might prove profitable for them this winter, because of their agreements with TUI, and online agreements "On the beach", KIWI etc. Hopefully they might be persuaded to take up other routes as well. Any extra winter routes would be of benefit to CWL, which has really suffered with the number of winter passengers over the last few years. The Tenerife route will be a little help.

Flew out to Alicante with Ryanair this morning. After chatting to a few people it seems a lot of people like me are doing the 4/5 nights. Flying out Sunday and returning late Thursday or Friday. I think the 6am departure from ALC is the only off putting part of a 7 night holiday (sun-sun). The flight was almost full either way.

I've seen posts elsewhere saying that the LFs for Alicante, Malaga and Tenerife are doing well in general. Hopefully it'll encourage Ryanair to add more flights!

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
