Except the exchange rate is better now than it has been for years and I think this is going to be a significant factor which will boost tourism from the UK, or at least act as a mitigating factor. For the same reason we will see less US citizens coming to the UK. I'm with you but most people arent bothered about the politics, if they can get a cheap deal to Disneyland they will just go for it.Trump is damaging relations with allies, he has no concept of diplomacy- he is a narcissist and appreciates no one, other than himself. His vocabulary is worse than an adolescent child where English isn’t their native tongue. Great, big, brilliant - bad, terrible etc, has to repeat to try and sound relevant. He is a businessman, but unfortunately he is damaging his own brand - America. Like @YorkshireLad i too would not be travelling to the US at the moment. Tourism and travel in general to America has nose dived and the world view of them as a country has taken a massive downturn. Post Trump their government on an international front will have to build relations, and the American tourist board will no doubt have to work very hard to regain tourists.
