Heights not being the only thing you fear fight2win! However totally agree with you that LCC must use this to their advantage. It is definitely now or never. Let's not waste this chance!

What else do i have a fear of finger66 (apart from spiders and offint) curious?Heights not being the only thing you fear fight2win! However totally agree with you that LCC must use this to their advantage. It is definitely now or never. Let's not waste this chance!
I get on with females very well, they are safe around me if you get me!I was thinking women fight2win! But you might have a point re Offint too. Joking apart, respect still exists
Did anyone else note the negative headline near the bottom of the piece which mentioned the
"Leeds Bradford Airport expansion". So they are maintaining their normally negative position, offset in this case with a generally positive slant. Wouldn't trust them.
It never really closed as the council said late comments would still be considered. It re-opened for 30 days after the airport had to submit an environmental report. Since then the Council have also got their own report from WSP so not sure if that being added to the mix resulted in yet another extension or not. Either way, people can continue submitting comments it would seem and they may still be considered. That said, I would think by now the Planning Officer already knows what is going to be recommended to the Plans Panel. I just hope to God it's a recommendation to approve due to this being vital to the to airports future, the city of Leeds, and the entire region.anybody find it abit strange this is all getting posted on LBA's social media again? and it looks like they're trying to drum up more support comments.. so has the portal reopened? abit confused.
I assume so as I have read it in full. Thanks Heather. Has the WSP report been made publically available do you know?
I can't access that for some reason. Has anyone whose read it get a feel for which way it sides.WSP report is viewable on the planning portal using following link.
Overall I would say it's fairly neutral. It does highlight the CO2 impact of more aircraft but there are positives too. It also highlights that unless approved and the revised night flight limits are agreed, LBA could operate as many night flights as they wish in the future, using new generation aircraft such as the 737 max or A320 Neo, as these types are so quiet they fall outside the current noise restrictions at LBA. The annual night time quota includes aircraft with noise levels above and beyond the noise generated by that type.I can't access that for some reason. Has anyone whose read it get a feel for which way it sides.
really missing the sound of those airbus engines and the B757 in the early hours at present!Overall I would say it's fairly neutral. It therefore makes it clear that turning this down will potentially lead to more night flights in the future than there would be with the new terminal and new limits as proposed. For the likes of GALBA, a 'be careful what you wish for' factor.
I'm always promoting the airport and fighting GALBA on social media.
I always lack a bit of technical knowledge. Would someone be able to give me a brief overview of what we already have plans for? As far as i'm aware we get a new terminal regardless? And have we already got approval for expansion in flight numbers? Any help appreciated
