Looking at a Monday in peak-Summer 19 the following is based and operating:
11x B738
5x B752
3x A332

The 3x A332 on a Monday will operate the following:
A/C 1: ALC & TFS
A/C 2: FAO & DLM
A/C 3: PMI and AYT

Since 3x A332 are now based some routes have seen a drop in departures per week (but will see an increase in seats). For example ALC and FAO both will see less flights per week in 2019 than in 2018, but instead of a mix of B738/B752 operating these routes in 2018, 2019 will see at least one A332 flight on most days.

I currently make peak S19 weekly departures at 256 per week up from 245 in S18. That is 11 extra departures per week and four new routes to ADB, CHQ, LRH and BOJ. With 3x based A332 that'll mean there will be a significant increase in seats in S19 too.

So obviously the implications for T1/T2 operations should see the current:
"Jet2.com flights to and from Lanzarote, Malaga, Palma and Tenerife operate from Terminal 2. "

have Alicante, Faro, Antalya and Dalaman added to the T2 portfolio otherwise there will be a lot more confusion if some of those routes go from T1 and some from T2.

This will see Jet2 move a further 3 aircraft across to T2, which makes between 6-7 aircraft at T2 for summer 2019. I've lost my note of number of aircraft already at T2 from summer 2018.

Time for S19 advanced gossip....

Based aircraft to be increase from 17 to 19, making them our largest based airline. Plans are for 2 A330-200 plus a A330-300.
New destinations may include Iz
Izmir, Burgas, Chania and Le Havre. Flights to Murcia will switch to the new International airport (RMU).

The A330s must be working for Jet2! Will all 3 be from Air Tanker?

Looking at the MAN programme for S19 before the busy peak holiday selling period it seems Jet2 have been doing some adjusting which in turn would reflect the rumour of 3x A330:

ALC - 15 Weekly Services (Down 5). Increase in seats with an A330
FAO - 14 Weekly Services (Down 3). Increase in Seats with an A330
FUE - 3 Weekly Services (Down 1). Increase in Seats with an A330
LPA - 4 Weekly Services (No change from S18 however the additional S19 is scrapped). Increase in Seats with an A330.

Also added an extra DLM flight on Wednesdays:

LS867/LS868 - 737-800
MAN 06:00 DLM 12:25
DLM 13:15 MAN 16:00

Hi. I'm really sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place. I'm desperate to find an answer to the question I have but Jet2 themselves couldn't give me a definite answer.

I am due to fly from MAN to LPA on flight LS781 on 13th June 2019. I am looking for an extra legroom seat with a window as I get a little claustrophobic without one. I noticed Row 14 Seat A is extra legroom but I'm not sure if the exit in front would cause this row to have no window. I understand the plane is a 757-200. Also I notice that seats B and C in the same row are always greyed out on any Jet 2 757-200 flight. Is seat 14A on it's own?

Any help would be much appreciated.

The addition of almost 70,000 extra seats means that nearly THREE MILLION seats are going on sale, more than ever before.

Turkey

Bourgas (Bulgaria)
popularity of new for Summer 19 destination means four weekly services in Summer 20.

70,000 extra seats for S2020 would indicate a modest increase of about 2.4%. However, let's see what the exciting news still to come involves because as far as I can see the above only refers to frequency increases and not new routes.

Quickly comparing the timetables for August I'm not sure there is any increase in peak capacity (assuming the same aircraft). Plenty of scope for them to be operating more fights in May/October though.

This launch is a means of securing early bookings. No doubt they will adjust the S2020 offerings once they have data on how S2019 has performed. Lots of variables in play this Summer and prices on some leisure routes appear quite soft at the moment. If you fancy an extra short break this is a great time to shop for flights.

Been reported elsewhere that the lease on one of the A330's will be converted to year-round and the plane will be painted in full Jet2Holidays livery.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
