▶️ Video Review: Leeds Bradford Airport Video Thread

Jerry has done some super videos of landings and take-offs at a number of UK airports as well as overseas ones and they are on F4A as well as YouTube. They give a great feeling for what it's like coming in and leaving airports around the country not known to the viewer from personal experience. This one certainly does that for me as far as LBA is concerned, an airport I've yet to have the pleasure of using or even visiting.

The views were really nice on approach, just wish there had been less cloud for the whole flight in general.

To try and answer the question asked by The Local Yokel about the lake seen in the video I seem to remember, from the days when I traveled through Otley that there used to be a sand and gravel quarry which, if I'm right (doesn't happen very often these days memory being what it is), this may be the lake he was asking about. Like many old sand and gravel operations it has probably now been turned into some form of recreational use.

Otley Sailing club use it now.

Loved watching this video of Wizz landing in low visibility at LBA. The aircraft stops incredibly quickly with no effort at all.

Very foggy landing back in January on KLM. I was surprised they were able to do it first time.

Yesterday I went up to LBA and managed to gather a good quantity of movements, including, as I realised later, the first visit of SP-RNF in its Polish form. Did I miss the AlbaStar B737 by 30 minutes? Yes. Is the video still pretty good? I like to think so

Yet another video - this time a blast to the past during the era of lockdown travel restrictions in May 2021. At this point these were literally all the movements of the day from LBA. Even got a sneaky engine test by B733 G-GDFK, only movement saw by one of those beauties for months

Much easier watch than the last one - only 10 minutes of footage as opposed to 45 (though maybe slightly less awesome)
