According to FR24 it's been cancelled and the aircraft is still on the ground.Anyone know whats the reason for this morning's CWL-DOH flight delay.....should have gone at 8.10 but showing delayed?
I think UK pax are genuinely ignorant to connecting flights. For example USA passengers would undoubtably need to do this a lot more than us to scale the country. Also America is so much more connected than the UK is. Also, we only have one hub airport which isn’t connected to Wales. Joe bloggs doesn’t think outside the box too much when it comes to flying and I’m sure then ME3 are first choice than say airfrance, Klm or Aer Lingus. I would imagine that a very high percentage of pax residing in wales and looking to go West would take Heathrow/Gatwick/Manchester before even thinking about the continent and using CWL as their origin. Maybe the frequency and variety of flights out of London trumps all.I've been flying to the US from Cardiff for a while now but it still surprises me at the lack of awareness of that. Went to get dollars this morning for next week and the cashier was genuinely shocked that I was able to fly to the US from Cardiff via Amsterdam. Had the same reaction again from the cashier at the supermarket. She thought you could only fly to Spain from Cardiff.
The Red Arrows are displaying tomorrow (Sunday) at the Weston-super-Mare Air Festival.Disappointed that I've missed them because I'm working but the Red Arrows are overnighting at Cardiff tonight and will be in and out of the airport tomorrow I believe.
Also I don't know if it happened but there was supposed to be a visit from the Battle of Britain Memorial flight I believe.
Just seen some photos of a Lancaster at Cardiff I'm guessing they are at Weston tomorrow? The Red Arrows are displaying tomorrow (Sunday) at the Weston-super-Mare Air Festival.

I hope that Jerry will do his usual comprehensive list and full analysis in the CWL CAA stats forum. He is currently on his travels but is maintaining contact with F4A as his recent posts have shown.CAA stats for May our - not great figures esp QR when operating for full month but still growth.....
Already posted that in the CAA statistic thread.Jerry did a top ten list on dried plum. So I can only think it will show here in the not too distant future.
QR was operating on 5 a week in May, full 1 a day service only began in June, so could be worse... Aircraft must still be operating with <50% loads though which is pretty bad after a year of operationCAA stats for May our - not great figures esp QR when operating for full month but still growth.....
