Thomson Airways, Boeing 767-300, G-OBYG is currently sat on the deck at LBA. She has just arrived inbound on the TOM797 service from Bridgetown-Barbados with P&O Cruise passengers.

She is due to position out in a bit to Manchester as TOM797F
On the side of the aircraft you could read 'garunda malasia' underneath the thomson paint work.

This was because in November and December the aircraft was leased out to Garuda Malaysia to operate Hajj charters so she recived Garuda titles but stayed in basic Thomson Colours.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

There is a positioning flight back from MAN this evening too, so the 800 may be coming back having operated a flight from MAN, or has it now gone over there with a 300 coming over here this evening?

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Like i said in the Jet2 thread tonights inbound positioner from Manchester should be a Boeing 737-300 returning back to base after going there yesterday for operational reasons.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

There is an information release today from the airport regarding the Omega Holidays flights from LBA to Naples this summer, and according to that, all the flights are to be operated by British Airways. Does anyone know what aircraft type this will be? I am assuming an A320 or similar, but if anyone knows, I (and I am sure others) would interested, particularly since BA are not seen at LBA that often nowadays.

Hi Heather

I can tell you that these flights have been planned to be operated by British Airways London City based City Flyer, Embrear 190 aircraft.

Hope that helps.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
