What equipment did Monarch deploy to Gibraltar? Was it perhaps Airbus?

I believe that the 737 and 757 can operate into Gibraltar but the 737 especially is a lot less capable of doing it.So, if Airbus can manage Gibraltar is there not a Boeing capable? The reason airlines do not serve the airport? My curiosity is getting to itch!
With he smaller aircraft it should work well for them. I will be looking with interest. Therefore, we are seeking the wrong airlines to operate such as Ryanair and Easy jet with their equipment whilst Eastern do have smaller capable aircraft but with limited capacity. Not an easy one. Thank you Jerry.
I love him, he's great, and he sticks up for the aviation industry too.He who annoys? Wonders shall never cease!
I also see Eastern as one of our only hopes currently to take on some of the smaller French region destinations such as Rennes, Nantes, Brest, Limoges, Biarritz etc. They are offering RNS and NTE from SOU so I hope BHX are in dialog with them to hopefully return some of those destinations in the future.
That is one of the problems I find with eastern. Their pricing is way off and can be expensive even for a domestic flight. Aswell as the airlines name doesn’t seem to be familiar with many such as an airline like Jet2 or Ryanair.I was told it was as the number of passengers you could count on one hand, doesn't sound good.
Fares are high and customer's do not know the "Eastern Airlines" name.
One for Squeezyjet me thinks, and no thanks to Flymaybe on a Dash 8 with supersonic turboprops, he he he he
Crewing. They had an E170 charter from HUY to DND and so needed both sets of E170/190 crew that day - one to fly the SOU-GIB-BHX-SOU and the other for the charter. The E135 was used for the afternoon BHX-GIB-SOU instead.Noticed on the inbound eastern used their recent edition E190 but on outbound to GIB they used the E135. Anyone know the reason?
