An Etihad a340-600 is currently at MAN according to Fr24. I've never seen a 600 there. A 300 yes, but never a 600.

A340-600 is quite common at MAN now.

Etihad send it in on a fair few flights, and both Lufthansa/Virgin send them in for paint. Theres actually a Lufthansa A340-600 in the paint bay now.

Due Tuesday 19th (tomorrow) is a Tunisair A300-600

TU791 TUN-LHR-MAN arrives MAN 1740
TU792 MAN-TUN departs MAN 1840

Nice to see an A300 that isn't Monarch at MAN.

Obviously too late for anyone to go and see, Illyushin IL-76 RA-76511 arrived at 1505 to pick up an airbus engine from TCX engineering.

Departed later this evening. May be back with another engine but remains to be confirmed. Last time a GTI B747-400F brought the broken engine back.

Brand new A321/WL G-TCDC is arriving at MAN tomorrow from XFW as TCX321P. This will also be the first of the TCX aircraft to feature the full new livery.

It is scheduled to arrive at 1540 and interestingly, this flight appears on the MAN online arrivals screens, to which such flights do not normally appear. D-ABOJ, the only Condor aircraft in the new colours, is also due back into MAN to take part in a photoshoot with G-TCDC.

The first Lufthansa B77F to visit MAN is currently on the deck. It is operated by brand new D-ALFB, only a few weeks old.

Another brand new airliner en-route to MAN.

UR-PSJ B737-900 of Ukraine International operating Donesk-Manchester. Will arrive approx. 5:30pm and nightstop.

Also United using the B767-400 on the Newark run tomorrow. Good passenger and cargo loads apparently.

B767-400 on the UA81 from EWR again, N77066. I've heard the UA80/81 is now the prime candidate for a B767 during the summer too.

The Manchester city owners are in for the football matches today.

A6-DAJ and A6-RJZ both B737 BBJ's are on the deck at the moment. Not often these are seen together at MAN, usually just A6-DAJ appears for the flights.

Manchester had Saudi Cargo visit yesterday with B747-400F TC-AGF arriving at 0830 and was due to depart at 2100 but did not leave until 0530 this morning.

Qatar Airways will operate A340-600 A7-AGC on tomorrows flight.

Whilst Qatar have sent an A340-600 to Manchester before (diverts), this will be the first time they have used one on a scheduled flight to MAN.

Cathay Pacific will send a B747-400 passenger aircraft through MAN on its way to Kemble.

Reg is not confirmed but will arrive at 1300 on 5th, depart 1050 on the 6th.

The flight will obviously be its last ever before a life as aluminium cans beckons.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
