Seems strange, hopefully they will be releasedStill no EZY PMI and AGP flights ex LBA beyond this Summer available. Have they been dropped?
Normally EZY just load a rinse and repeat of the previous summer. I’d be leaning more towards them being dropped than a base in the current climate. Both are very well served routes from LBA and maybe EZY feel they can maximise that capacity on other routes with less competition. If they are indeed axed, it doesn't really support the case for a potential EZY base.
If they can't make PMI and AGP work from LBA they'll struggle on other routes. If LBA wants to grow it'll need to sustain 3 airlines on routes like Mallorca and Malaga.I questioned their decision to launch two routes already well served from LBA. It has parallels with VY when they launched BCN several years ago from LBA, a route already served by LS, FR and ZB at the time
BA City Flyer?I've noticed that on Gatwicks W26 Initial Slot Coordination on the destinations section LeedsBradford is in the list. It says 220 movements and 15,840 seats

BA City Flyer?
No idea it doesn't say the airlineBA City Flyer?
I think they do routes on behalf of BA on the weekend. Also Emerald Airlines do as well they operate Glasgow i believe.BA Cityflyer only operate into London City, if any I’m sure it would be Gatwick based BA Euroflyer.
Flew the old city flyer express from LBA into LGW numerous times in the 90’s, from recollection it was a Shorts 360! Was quite handy for getting into the City via the Gatwick express apart from when I ended up at Southampton due to fog at LGW! Hopefully it’s not just a slot filler…..BA Cityflyer only operate into London City, Gatwick has BA Euroflyer.
Looking at ACL Slot report it’s Emerald Airlines (UK) who’s applied for the Gatwick slots using ATR72. Hopefully with a BA codeshare.
Also there's a request at London City Airport from Emerald Airlines for 916 slots and 65,952 seats. No idea it doesn't say the airline

Also 15,840 divide by 220 is 72.
Its technically to be seen as a signal of intention. Of course nothing may not happen with them but it's interesting that they've be applied for nonetheless.Pure speculation. As it has been said on other airport threads, slot request does not mean a service will operate. Wait for seats to be on sale.
That's all I could see regarding LBA.Meh, LHR is the only airport you want to be connecting in and out of, barely any UK airport has a LGW domestic connection now.
Anything else of interest?
While it would be nice to have Heathrow back, Gatwick woild offer some useful connections plus the obvious link to back the South of London and the South East Coast.Meh, LHR is the only airport you want to be connecting in and out of, barely any UK airport has a LGW domestic connection now.

Daft and slightly irrelevant question, but who are ZB? ThanksI questioned their decision to launch two routes already well served from LBA. It has parallels with VY when they launched BCN several years ago from LBA, a route already served by LS, FR and ZB at the time
