There is a rumour that Easyjet may well raise £3 billion in bonds to buy Norwegian or part of it. I'd have thought that the long haul wouldn't be attractive but some of short haul might. As I mention in another thread, Norwegian as a condition of new capital has had to agree not
I have no problems on him being paid any earned bonus, I am just glad he has agreed to remain with the company, but we dont know what his role will be as he has refused to accept the conditions laid down for the CEO.Interesting.....
RYANAIR investors are preparing to launch a concerted bid to block boss Michael O’Leary’s controversial €100m (£90m) bonus package.
The low-cost airline shocked shareholders two weeks ago by announcing Mr O’Leary would potentially be entitled to the shares-based payout, despite being savaged by stock markets since last summer.
Ryanair winter 2019/20 are now showing....same as this year everyweek without any breaks.....well done again Ryanair
It's great that they offer services through winter but it just frustrates me that they have such a large portfolio off routes and don't choose to serve them from Leeds when we are crying out for them! Berlin, Madrid, Lisbon so many holiday routes, even some extra Eastern European ones to keep up with competition down the hill. Berlin and Madrid 3-4 times a week would be 100% utilised, lets just get Brexit out of the way then hopefully the aviation future in the UK will be much clearer.Louis it’s not that long ago before Ryanair came we went nowhere in Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb..Yes Jet2 did Chritsmas and NY but that was it...be greatful of what we have are are getting next winter because I am....no need to trek over the hill in winter anymore in my case.
At the September AGM and after the woeful results to the 31st December, company policy to cut a substantial number of routes and curtail new routes. I am sure your right that the 737 Max is just window dressing.I can’t really decide whether the 737 Max situation is a reason or an just excuse to cut less profitable routes. Even Ryanair have to be cautious in the current uncertain aviation climate.
