I wouldnt be surprised to see a third daily BHX-IST announced.

It needs to go to twice daily first (although, I've heard that that's imminent). If a third rotation is introduced, I guess that would be an evening flight.

I thought the current flights don’t connect conveniently & over night layovers are needed in IST, so some scheduling changes or adjustments may be needed in the long term.
Could Pegasus also work ? Do they have good connections to usual destinations

It's due to go to double daily from the start of the summer season, however back to 10x weekly for W23/24.

Turkish showing twice daily from the summer period, 26th March, however the morning flight is showing operated by a 737-Max 8, (151 seats, C16Y135), the afternoon service continues on the A321neo, (182 seats, C20Y162), no sign of any A330s in the summer timetable presently.

That's disappointing, in one way as the rumour was regular A330s on set days in the summer.

Still , back to narrowbodied double daily is a good sign.

Like Timberwolf states, a precursor before that happen is to may be regularly schedule A330s/789s rather than the ad hoc appearance, albeit that the upgrades appear to be operating frequently.

I am hearing either a third daily or regular upgrades to existing service.
