trump is a legend! up until this crisis the usa economy was best its ever been, lowest unemployment ever and what he says he does! those who try to put him down inc the media just cant face the fact he is good! :finger: so there!
all things alien and ufo though facinate me. What gets me is one day we could all be doing our day to day biz and our creators may come visit us again, all this biz about us coming from apes, monkeys only makes me laugh! (ps iv not been taking anything)

Maybe so it gets buried, a bit like the government scrapping free school meals during the coronavirus crisis.
yes i agree with you there, perhaps they were under pressure to release the footage which was confirmed evidence that they were following a flying machine with incredible performance, so best time to do it was when the world is so absorbed in the corona virus.

This section of the BBC report that accompanies the video surprised me.

Over the years many of the most outlandish theories have been debunked. But in 2017, the Pentagon did finally admit that it had a long-standing programme, now terminated, investigating alleged UFOs.

I've long taken it as read that governments around the world, at least governments of the major countries such as the USA, have seriously investigated all reports of UFOs primarily to try to determine whether they are some form of weapon or spyware developed by potential enemy countries on Earth.

What surprises me is that the dedicated US programme to investigate UFOs has reportedly been terminated. I take that with a pinch of salt because the USA will still want to be sure that UFOs aren't some new weapon or aircraft that might compromise its security, whether its origins lie elsewhere on Earth or from outer space.

I've said in previous posts in this thread that I remain to be convinced that any of the reported UFOs (flying saucers in my youth) emanate from beyond this planet and carry alien beings.

For me the important letter in the acronym is the U. If the flying objects remain unidentified, even after after investigation, it adds nothing to our knowledge of their provenance.

Very true @TheLocalYokel and whilst these objects remain unidentified they remain just that. I have spent many hours reading about this subject with great interest and I would also say the evidence also suggests whilst unidentified, the types of manoeuvres these objects or crafts are carrying out are just not possible by our laws of physics.

Acceleration from a static position to many thousands of miles per hour in an instant; completely changing direction and coming to an abrupt standstill would amount to an incredible amount of G-Force. A force of that magnitude wouldn't be tolerated by anything living on this planet without something to protect the integrity of the object and it's contents whether that be organic or inorganic.

Although there is no evidence to say how these objects operate or indeed who operates them, whatever powers them is clearly something we as a human race no nothing about.

Chariots of the gods by erich von daniken is a fascinating read and basicly concludes that most of our past from thousands of years ago has been influenced by help from outer space. There is so much evidence though, clues and stuff staring at us in the face.

My thoughts on this subject are an alien race which could be one of many out there came to our primitive planet, picked the most suitable species (apes)to use as an experiment and plant some of their superior dna or whatever into them which then made us the dominant species of this planet, whats also interesting is how come apes and monkeys are still swinging around in the trees far stronger than humans if we apparently came from them? Funny how we are so intelligent compared to any other species!
Also to note is the rh neg blood type, a blood type not found in any other living thing on this planet and those that have it are very clever, skilled and only found within Caucasians. Also a large percentage of famous people from the past that have channelled our ways and beliefs had the rh neg blood type. perhaps thousands of years ago they educated the others. Whats also interesting is how all pyramids around the world have generally the same design and look to them(obviously all triangular) its as if the same minds have built them all, plus of course there is the amazing construction of them with engineering even now we would struggle with. If you draw a line between the most famous monuments constructed thousands of years back it forms a straight line all the way around the planet! There is so much more to talk about whats of great interest but those are my thoughts, and before you ask iv not been taking illegal substances :LOL:

The flying objects don't have to contain any living being, whether from Earth or beyond. I'm not a scientist but I'm guessing that if a human was fired in the way a bullet leaves a gun the body forces would be overwhelmingly unbearable, yet an inanimate bullet has no problem with those stresses.

Most of us don't know what capability the human race does possess when it comes to harnessing the laws of physics, or chemical or biological capability for that matter. Until August 1945 only a very few were privy to the fact that the human race was able to build a bomb that would kill tens of thousands of people in one go, destroy an entire city and make it and the surrounding area uninhabitable for years to come.

Most us of base our thoughts on the limit of scientific knowledge that is generally known at the time. For example, in 1905 Rudyard Kipling looked ahead to 2000 and wrote a story that envisaged a huge fleet of airships carrying passengers and mail on regular routes across the world. They were guided by giant searchlights in the sky and travelled at the then unheard of speed of 250 mph.

Kipling had no conception then of the jet engine able to carry 500 people at a time across the Atlantic as quickly as the rail journey between London and Edinburgh in 1905 or aircraft digital electronic and computer systems, so had to base his story on known technology of the period, ie airships even though development of those was in its infancy, and searchlights.

Many of the instances of UFOs rely on eye witness testimony alone, very often from people neither trained in observation nor possessing the necessary professional evaluation skills. Their estimate of speed, acceleration and manoeuvre has to be taken with the greatest of caution.

My mind is not completely closed to any answer that addresses phenomena that we find difficult or impossible to explain, but I always look for indisputable proof before I'm convinced.

Donald Rumsfeld, a former US Defence Secratary, when dealing with the the search for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq spoke of 'known knowns' and 'known unknowns' which might also apply to the UFO question. He also spoke of 'unknown unknowns' which might relate to it even more closely.

As a species we send probes to outer space and to other planets in search of other life. As a species we then strangely question the idea that other worldly beings may be sending their probes here.

A bit OTT.....but I've always thought the constant reporting of UFOs etc, is the 'world governments' way of "buttering" us up, for when first contact is made. I can imagine when it happens, people would go crazy. For one it would make religion obsolete overnight.

Its was only last year since 'Oumuamua' passed earth. The first object from outer space to go past earth. A very odd shaped 'rock' that looked like a cigar. Some reports online suggested, it even slowed down as it passed.

I agree with the first part but I don't see why religion would become obsolete. I am not particularly religious if I'm honest but the idea that there could be a greater power or a creator of the universe can still exist. Who is to say a creator cannot create many many life forms not just our own. The sudden idea there could be more life in our universe doesn't change anything regarding religion in my opinion. If anything it could re-enforce the ideas and principles of religion.

The gods came down from above with their amazing tools! they were aliens! Gods and religion is just to cover the real truth!

Here is something for you to chew over tonight.

Space does not curve. We always thought that the known universe is a spherical thing. No it is not. It just goes and goes and goes on and on and on. There is no end to it.

And this inflation thing is even worse. Every object is moving away from each other in space. That’s what we thought. Latest theory is that all objects ( stars, galaxies planets etc) in space are at the same place. Its just the space between them that is expanding. Like dots on a balloon move away from each other when you inflate the balloon.

Sleep well fellow aviators.

Has anyone in this ufo discussion heard of bob lazar?

Possibly one of the best 2 hours and 15 minutes of my time i’ve ever listened too. I’ve since gone on to watch a couple of documentaries about him, really interesting. If anyone has Netflix or prime, look up the documentaries about him.

Eventually the night sky really will be pitch black with absolutely nothing in view (eg stars). As far as im aware they are all moving away from each other? Its incredible how the universe really does just go on forever!

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
