Did i remember right that you went on a sunday a few weeks ago Ray and you said it was really busy. I think it was when you took that pic of all those different airline tails on the main pier ???

Sunday is a good day.

If you want a busy time then it's either very early morning or mid afternoon.

Early morning is mainly all the based aircraft departing with the Euro carriers then arriving on their first flights of the day. You'll also have the TOM long haul and US flights.

Personally I like mid afternoon where there is a steady stream and plenty of variety. The photo I took was at 14:30 but if there are a few delays or early arrivals it can vary.

Are you heading to the car park or the viewing area?

I normally goto the viewing area (runway extension) as i prefer to be closer to the aircraft (Rnwy 33 hopefully)

I think our two Barcelona flights are first visits today.

Vueling are using A320 EC-LOP which seems to have one white engine and one yellow.

Norwegian are using 738 LN-DYH although I'm not 100% sure if it's a first visit, I'll confirm later.

C17 ZZ177 is currently at BHX, I'm not sure how long it will be staying.

Has something happened to Denim air?

Just looking at Twitter, Inghams have posted that there are issues with the BHX and MAN Denim air flights, so, they have hired in a Titan Airways aircraft for the BHX flight, and A private B737 (9H-MTF) for the MAN flight.

Both will also now route to Munich instead.

Seems a weird situation?

9H-MTF B737 will now be used on the Inghams Innsbruck flight, due later tonight.

:s_dunno They may have had to terminate the contract as Denim lease their planes and another customer might need them.

PH-MJP was parked all day, it may be tech or maybe the flights are being handed over.

I also saw the C17 depart, it was a magnificent sight 🙂

We've got Titan's 733 G-POWC arriving from Stansted, presumably it will continue to Lisbon as that's where FR24 says it's going.

The peak season Travel Service flights from/to TFS start tomorrow arriving BHX at 13:30 then departing again at 14:20.

I believe the Correndon flights from/to Antalya are also due to start on Friday?
