They are doing a few UK charters this year, but what is interesting about Evelop is if you track their history backwards they were previously called Orbest Orzonia and previous t that Iberworld airlines,

I can remember seeing Iberworld doing charter work back in the early part of the last decade, an A320 I think. It's definitely an interesting livery and one to break up the endless stream of Monarch, Flybe and Ryanair's. Speaking of interesting liveries Scandinavian A319 OY-KBO operated this evenings SK2535/2536 which is in the retro livery. I wish I'd been able to get down with my camera as I do love a retro livery :good:

Privilege Style 757 EC-ISY is parked up on 84L or 84R, FR24 shows it's been working for Monarch out of Gatwick for the last few days so maybe it'll be doing something for them?

Its good to see a few Spanish Airlines back at BHX after years of them not needed due to the mighty British charter airlines like Thomson, Thomas Cook and Monarch.

I remember in the summers of the 80s popping down to Sheldon country park watching Aviaco DC.9s, Hispania 737.200s and the mighty Spantax DC.8. Those were the days.

Add to those Viva Air and the short lived Oasis from the 90s. You mention TCX, TOM and MON - 15, 20 even 25 years ago British airports boasted many more UK charter operaters - Air UK Leisure, Excalibur, Ambassador, Air Europe, British World, Sabre, XL, Flying Colours, JMC, MY Travel, Britannia, Air 2000, Orion, TEA.....while some still exist through mergers it is still amazing how the landscape of charter ops as changed over the years.

And Inter European and those Paramount MD-82s. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh

The first Privilege Style 757 EC-ISY departed this morning for BCN as ZB962, a second Privilege Style 757 EC-HDS arrived from Madrid in the early hours and is now operating ZB962 to AGP.

Sundays AN12 UR-CGW was in to operate an Oxfam relief flight to Juba in southern Sudan. From the pictures it looks as though it was packed very full and took a good chunk of the runway when it departed for Heraklion which was the first of two stops en route. Photo courtesy of the BHX photo blog with a full report and many great photos of the cargo on the link below.

The BHX arrivals page is showing flight umber VM904 due from Farnborough at 14:45 tomorrow (Saturday). A quick Google shows that flight number is used for a Royal Thai Air Force Government 734 HS-CMV. Anyone know what it's about?

Given Thailand has undergone what is essentially a military coup in the past few days, it will be interesting to see exactly who is on the plane!

I see Hi Fly are using their A310 for the Hannover and Paderborn flights this weekend rather than the A340 which has been used in recent weeks, CS-TEX arrived last night.

Monarch A321 with winglets G-ZBAO also arrived yesterday evening.

Just noticed the TUIfly has landed this morning from Palma, Majorca. Makes a nice change from the Blue THOMSONfly.

Nice summery livery

It was in the Hapag Lloyd retro livery, photo's to be added to the gallery later :)

Further to my above the Hi Fly German flights should be with an A310 on a permanent basis now but obviously things can and do change.

This afternoons Lufthansa A321 from Frankfurt (17:35) is showing as D-AIDV which is in the retro livery, again things could well change.

Titan 763 G-POWD positioned in from MAN in the early hours to do some flying for Monarch.

Im flying with Monarch to Las Palmas in August, i hope they use the Priviege style 757 for me. Loving the 757's.

Sorry Airbus A321.

The Titan 763 would be even better :)

C130 ZH867 did a couple of touch and goes this afternoon, it came over my head around 14:40.

Antonov An-12 UR-CZZ is due tonight around 21:00, subject to change of course.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
