FR24 has N174AA down again for tomorrows AA flight. It's still early days so very much subject to change, as it did yesterday. I hope it doesn't as I'd like to see the bare metal Oneworld livery.

EI-FID is operating the Ryanair flight from Krakow, is that its first BHX visit?
By the way, N757HW used to be a regular BHX visitor as Airtours' G-JALC.

Someone has blundered. According to FR24 tomorrow's UA26 will be operated by an A319. Heads up folks! 😆

It may be possible for UA26 to be an A319.
There is a domestic flight with this flight number,does it go on to LAX?,I can't remember,although probably unlikely.The problem with FR24 there are a number of bugs and discrepancies on the database so should never be taken as gospel that everything shown is accurate.
Having said that it is a very good source of info for both serious spotters and casual observers alike!!

The ICE flight today is being operated by a DAT A320, OY-RUP.Due out at 1340ish.

Tonight's SK2535 is A319 OY-KBO which is in the SAS Retro livery. it's due just after 18:30.

There is a C-130 Hercules flying NW over Brum at a very low altitude!

I saw it from my sisters back garden in Kitts Green. She's lucky (or unlucky some would say) as aircraft are directly overhead and very low.

Out of interest does anyone know if BHX still receives Medevac flights?

Changing direction slightly I believe today was the first time we've seen flights to/from Barcelona from four different airlines (Ryanair, Monarch, Norwegian and Vueling) in one day. I can't remember the last time we had four operators to one destination?

I think we are still receiving MedeVac flights.
In fact if I remember correctly the day the Kuwaiti C17 visited we also had 2 RAF flights,(a C17 and a Hercules).
The flights I believe we're related but cannot remember why.
The flights have reduced since activities in Afghanistan have slowed down,but I don't know if all the flights were Afghan related.

Re 1 destination,4 airlines,although not all scheduled back in the day Friday used to be known as Tenerife day.In the summer peak anything between 7 and 10 flights or more would head off to that Canary Island.Also for 1 or 2 seasons we had a Tenerife North service,although I think that may have been a winter service.Even in the winter we could get 5 or 6 flights out to the same Canary Island.

Titan 757 G-POWH is flying for Thomas Cook today. FR24 has it due back from Dalaman at 18:14.

There were two Titan 757's in today. G-POWH is parked up on the 80's stands and G-ZPAX departed just before 14:00, I think it was on a Monarch flight.

Yesterday there was a Gainjet 734 in to collect the England team, I'm not sure if it will return tonight or tomorrow.

Apparently there was scheduled to be a Denim F100 in from Antwerp today.
EC-MBY operated the Vueling flight from BCN on its first visit.
G-POWH just positioned out to STN which incidentally has had G-TCSX visit this morning.

The Thomas Cook return flight from Kos this morning was operated by B753 G-JMAB which landed at 0516 before departing to STN--its first visit to BHX in a very long time!

Will be on that flight myself in a few weeks although I probably won't be as lucky to catch the flying pencil! Hoping to catch one of the new A321Ss though - do we have a based set of A321s or is it just pot luck?

We currently have G-TCDC and G-TCDX and G-TCDB based. All have Sharklets but G-TCDB is still in old colours. Of course they do change every couple of weeks.
Ever-present this summer will be YL-LCL, you might end up flying on that instead...
