According to a report in this mornings Yorkshire Post the route has been withdrawn,
Hans Dyhrfort the SAS regional General Manager Western Europe said "Unfortunately, passenger demand fo the route was not as high as anticipated, which made it unsustainable to continue flying from Humberside.

Yes, it's widely reported in the press the HUMBERSIDE to Copenhagen service has been scrapped.

The Humberside thread is here for anybody wishing to discuss it further.

Bridgepoint have had months and months and months to get the SAS logo into the arrivals and departures system that is viewed by the public. Guess what? Hope they've got a senior man on the case.

It's little things that make all the difference like building some extra aircraft parking space for example!

Don't look very good does it with the airport logo on there like

I've found one on Google. They're more than welcome to copy and paste it onto the LBA website. :whiteflag:

Very disappointing really....

Hopefully LBA's tech team will resolve the problem tomorrow.

Sorry I only know the LBA-CPH pax figure.

CRJ900 OY-KFA

2 Business class
40 Economy

Total: 42

The a/c's capacity is 88 so just under 50% Load.

Well I suppose that's a fair start - hopefully the load factor will rise to 60-70% soon, maybe as the Spring season gets the travellers out. I would imagine that inbound passengers will be quite high as Yorkshire has much to interest the Danes and with business confidence rising more business traffic will be generated both ways. The Edinburgh market is similar and passengers on Edi-Cph have a good choice now with DY and EZY, plus (I think) BMi on the route. I wish the LBA route every success and hopefully we will be using the service to visit relatives in the future.

They appear to have resolved it. Showing SAS now.

SAS now en-route to LBA! Aircraft is a CRJ900 jet reg: OY-KFA

Departed 6 minutes late and showing it arriving 8 minutes early! Really good considering its the first flight! :drinks:

The aircraft has landed and parked on stand 5 I believe. I sore 2 fire trucks on the webcam before the aircraft landed so they may have given it a water salute. I wonder what the loads where like.

How many pax do these aircraft hold? One face of it seems quite good loads for first flights, but will there be lots of seats given away to travel agents etc?

The aircraft SAS are using hold 88 pax, if you ask me, I think the outbound load is alright for the first flight, remember the loads BA was having when they started up!

Seems encouraging, considering that the first flight is essentially 'one way traffic' as nobody on it is returning from a service on an earlier date.

Will be interesting to see how the passenger numbers progress over the next couple of weeks.

The schedule seems somewhat half hearted but I sincerely hope the route works, the CRJ 900 is lovely to fly on too.

Great to see the SAS parked on stand 5 last night next to the KLM F70. We just now need Brussels Airlines RJ100, HOP ER145, Eurowings CRJ900 and a Swiss RJ100 and we will be laughing!!!

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
