Almost back to a daily service!I’ve heard and seen on the app that Dublin Thursday and Saturdays are being added for the summer. Crucially the Saturday looks like a 9am departure which should perform much better than last summer. Thursday is 7:55 from Cardiff.
I’d imagine FR will likely stay away from any new domestic flights given that APD (not just on domestic flying) is going up for the next two Aprils - and Michael O’Leary quite recently, post-budget, having spoken publicly about it rather negatively.Would you think there is appetite to develop further? Thinking maybe Paris, Glasgow and Edinburgh initially?

I'd expect that any future routes would be sun routes rather than pure city routes. Ie a route like Barcelona.I’d imagine FR will likely stay away from any new domestic flights given that APD (not just on domestic flying) is going up for the next two Aprils - and Michael O’Leary quite recently, post-budget, having spoken publicly about it rather negatively.
But then what he says and what he does are often two different games!

Sorry to get your hopes up!Shame, I was wondering what was in range for a W pattern lol
It could be slot restrictions at Dublin. Might change at a later date. There’s a 2:15 gap for Dublin on a Saturday. Seems excessive considering Ryanair’s 25 minute turnaround. It doesn’t seem long enough to fit in a route in between, but surely they wouldn’t have it sat on the stand for all that time?
Edited to include the extra Malaga flight. It also means that CWL will see 15 weekly departures from Ryanair.
This is what the schedule looks like so far for Ryanair Summer 2025
15 weekly departures to 5 destinations.
