Wizz has a crew recruiments day on 4 April at BHX Holiday Inn, make of this what you wish but I have a gut feeling we will see Wizz UK taking over the BHX routes they have similar day in Sheffield for DSA

BHX is again underserved on ALC, PMI, AGP etc since the demise of MON, so a bit more capacity would be great.
The existing carriers on these routes must be doing well now and yields much improved

It does make you wonder why just Birmingham and Doncaster, if it was a general recruitment drive you'd have thought they would have toured all of the major cities?

I can't see Birmingham or Doncaster based crews operating on away based aircraft?

It could well be preparations for Brexit?

Why would say that. I see the likes of Wizz as a very different offer to EZY/RYR

True - which is why I was pretty surprised to see people talking about the "bucket and spade" destinations when the possibility of a Wizz base was brought up?

Reported on another website by the alter ego of one of our former posters that Wizz is to commence a route to Cluj in Romania. It's in the Wizz website drop-down menu but no details of dates or frequency yet shown.

The route will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays, with flights leaving Birmingham at 0740 and landing in Cluj at 1240 local time. Departures from Cluj are at 0605 and land in Birmingham at 0710.

would be good to see Wizz increasing their frequency on existing routes too, surely Budapest could be daily, and an increase in Warsaw?

Just open a base Wizzair, stop messing around. I mean its not much to ask and im sure there is a little room for a few extra flights to ALC/PMI/AGP as well if it makes you happy.

Just for the record Primerascare wont be at BHX next summer, they are off ooooooop north where the grass is greener apparently so plenty of room for you and WE LIKE YOU WIZZAIR, unlike that tinpot of an airline i have just mentioned.

Out of interest was he banned from here? I saw he commented on the dried fruit saying that he was “unable” to post on here which I thought was strange, especially as Dobbo left the exact same day.
