From April 2022 Wizz are adding an extra A320 to its Craiova base. Birmingham gets an increase from 2 to 3 weekly flights from Craiova.

I can't see the point of flying to DXB via an intermediary point (BUD) with a lengthy stop over. Why not fly direct? I would imagine that if you can't afford EK prices, you can't afford to go to DXB.

I’m disappointed that wizz haven’t looked to expand from bhx.Would be so so much better for European retailers.Why can’t we look at Reykjavik or Bergen for wizz air

As well as Abu Dhabi I see that Wizz are now offering connections to both Jeddah and Riyadh, both through Bucharest.

Jeddah requires 16h 20m transfer in Bucharest in both directions with the overall flight time 24h out and 24h 40m back (I've done Aus in less).

Riyadh is slightly better with 7h 35m in Bucharest on the way out but 14h 25m on the return with the overall flight times being 15h 40m out and 14h 25m back.

Both were random dates between Aug and Oct.

I guess if cheap enough it may appeal to some.
