Seat maps for tomorrow.

Warsaw 86% both ways.

Poznan 88% out, 95% in.

Saturdays Budapest currently shows 87% out, 92% in.

Amazing loads, and above the Wizz Company average.... great to see in the depth of January! They seem to know what they are doing, its only been just over a month since Poznan started but with loads like that, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw in increase in capacity there too....

Those are indeed good loads, especially when you consider that Wizz have not yet been operating for 6 months.
I said it before,I wonder if RYR are regretting not expanding their offering to Eastern Europe earlier.
It also proves that LoCos can operate alongside full service carriers here in Brum,(are you taking notice easyJet).
Wizz seem to be a good partner for BHX and hopefully that will continue for many years, maybe even adding further new destinations that have never previously been served from here.

Great to see loads doing well for Wizzair.

If Wizzair want to seriously take on Ryanair, you may also find that over the next couple of years that they open new bases in the rest of Europe, including the UK.

Recently they have launched routes to the south of Europe and to the Mediterranean.

With the loads that it's seeing I'd be very surprised if Poznan isn't 3x weekly before the year is out.

The one doubt I had was with Wroclaw starting in a few weeks could it potentially dilute the Poznan loads in the early days? Google tells me that they are approx 91 miles apart, it also says that driving time is 2h 36 min with the train taking around 3 hours?

That said, Google also tells me that Poznan and Bydgoszcz are only 66 miles apart. Ryanair having a 3x weekly service to the latter doesn't look to have had much of an effect?

I'm sure Wizz will have done their homework.

Distance isn't important, its travel time....

2:26hrs away from Birmingham gets you to nearly every major airport in England... including Heathrow, Stansted, Gatwick etc.....

If its one thing that will also way amaze you in Poland and eastern Europe, its generally how pants their surface transport is!!!!

Loads outbound are showing higher than loads inbound on today's Budapest.

89% in

93% out

Loads doing really well Ray, and are getting near the Ryanair average on there Eastern Euro Routes.

Winter flights are starting to be loaded.

So far only Bucharest is showing with the flights moving to Sunday and Thursday, in 07:40 and out at 08:10.

Today's Budapest shows 88% inbound and 95% outbound.

Friday's Poznan and Warsaw are both currently showing around 86% both ways but tickets do tend to sell quite late on these.

Sofia has joined Bucharest as the next destination now on sale for winter. Still 2x weekly on Mon and Fri, in 18:30 out 19:05.

Some loads for tomorrow from the seat maps.

Poznan - Birmingham 90%

Birmingham - Poznan 95%.

Warsaw - Birmingham 88%

Birmingham - Warsaw 92%

all above the company average... great to see. lets hope Wizz are happy with BHX, their homework seems to be paying off if their loads are anything to go by!!!

Wizz must clearly be happy - the A321 offers an extra 50 seats so even remaining x3 weekly it'll offer a decent jump in capacity.

circa 28% jump in capacity, that's a bigger jump in capacity than adding a 4th weekly rotation. that said, winter is a long way away yet, things could still change!

Seat map figures for tomorrow's flights.

Birmingham to Warsaw 90%

Warsaw to Birmingham 92%

Birmingham to Poznan 86%

Poznan to Birmingham 96%

I really hope that these two routes are in line for some extra capacity. Poznan clearly needs a third weekly flight. Hopefully they can squeeze one in for the winter season, that would also give Wroclaw time to settle in too.

I'm not sure of their A321 delivery schedule but if they could use them on Warsaw it would add much needed capacity. If not hopefully we may see 4x weekly for winter.

Great to see a Wizz A321 doing some of our flights, onwards and upwards for Wizzair at BHX.

Warsaw is partially loaded for winter. There is currently nothing from Oct-Jan then Feb and Mar vary between two and three weekly flights, I'm sure it will be fully loaded soon.

The good news is that it joins Budapest on an A321 :good:

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
