Although its still early days I don't think 58% is great for September. Maybe for Oct onwards. It's worrying that Winter could see regular below 50% stats.

I think the WG will do what it takes to ensure the route is sustained - there is no suggestion whatsoever that it is in any danger at the moment - and if necessary will sail close to the state aid rules (I put it no stronger than that). It also depends how much treight is carried both ways,freight does help routes where ever they operate to.Since Qatar Airways started in May up until October they have carried 43,898 passengers into and out of Cardiff Airport.
Can 43,898 passengers im 5 months even though it's a new service be considered a poor performance? Can the route be considered as performing poorly?
