It's bookable from Dec 6th, PF2935/6.

As is Reykjavik, PF195/6.

Looking at the days and times it could well be that the incoming KEF then operates to ALC, before returning to KEF? If so I'd expect the schedule to be padded out soon.

Thur

BHX 12:35 ALC 16:10
ALC 17:10 BHX 18:50

Sun

BHX 11:15 ALC 14:50
ALC 15:50 BHX 17:30

Reykjavik.

Thur

KEF 08:30 BHX 11:05

Sun

BHX 19:00 KEF 21:45

We now have one of the gaps filled in, what will 39/40 be?

Barcelona PF2931/2
Malaga PF2933/4
Alicante PF2935/6
Palma PF2937/8
????? PF2939/40
Chania PF2941/2

Its been topsy-turvy n still no guarantee aircraft will be delivered on time. Reflecting on everything would have preffered 2 aircraft base doing european routes, building the brand up and launching TATL next year. Oh well!!! Still hoping they can make a good go of BHX.

Well according to the latest interview with Primera, they were only really interested in TATL routes initially, but having assessed the impact of the loss of monarch from the British market, it represented a once in a lifetime opportunity apparently. This is probably the reason why they have added no euro routes from CDG?!

The strategy may have been different otherwise but the landscapes dramatically changed during their early days.

However, with careful planning and sting strategy moving forward, I’d love to see Primera become BHX what TCX did to MAN!

Thinking about this, I wonder which way things will go once the schedules become available past December.

Will the aircraft operate KEF-BHX-ALC-BHX-KEF every Thur and Sun? If so why not add the full schedule now?

Will there be a second based aircraft from Thur to Sun? If so could we expect another route covering Fri and Sat?

Will Malaga and Barcelona be cut right back and we'll just have one aircraft from Thur to Sun only?

They have announced a promotion of £99 fares for each transatlantic route, 99 seats per route available thro the summer available March 22nd 9.0am and are expecting to sell out immediately, hand luggage only.Like the recent incentive for travel agents this offer is for STN only so nothing so far for BHX hopefully that means bookings are going well he says with fingers crossed.

Also seen suggested on the other forum that KEF is basically a positioning flight to allow a based aircraft at BHX over weekends for sun route flights, seems logical.

It just depends on whether that's in addition to the already based aircraft doing AGP and BCN, or instead of meaning a reduction to just four days?

Yep I agree, although in winter you would (obviously)normally see reduced schedules overall but as Primera are new they could well be building the network they do seem a bit random to me and announce routes bit by bit much prefer Jet2s way of going about things who pretty much give you the whole plan in one hit.
Still waiting for something /anything long haul for next winter, looking more unlikely as the clock ticks unless anyone knows different hopefully.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
