And the alcohol for tonight is....?

The whole gin craze has completely passed me by.....I’ve tried numerous ones and I can’t say I’ve disliked them but it just doesn’t do anything for me.

With you on that one 👍

Mrs F's gins range from parma violet through to pear drop (thanks @Aviador ) but none really appeal to me. I did however take a liking to a pink gin and prosecco, so whenever one is available it feels kind of rude to say no 🙂

I'm the same, Gin wouldn't be my choice drink but as you say it would be rude not to. Having said that, I'm not sure what my choice drink would be, I'll drink just about anything.

Have you tried Prosecco with a dash of Limoncello? It’s quite a popular aperitif in Italty. It’s also quite nice with peach juice.

Yes generally my criterion is, it has to be alcoholic. The gin bit isnt my scene either although my son and daughter in law do like it. Tonight, whilst ensconsed in my `Man Cave` I`ve opened the last remaining 5 litre wine box of Merlot.Bought this summer from a winery at St Sornin near the Dordogne and kept dark and cool in the garage ever since..Its rather nice and I`m hoping it will last longer than its predecessors did, but probably not :depressed::depressed:

Shiraz for Mr and Mrs Aviador this evening.

Vinakoper Shiraz,

A Christmas present, don't normally drink Shiraz but it's quite nice if I;m honest.

I'm currently eating some homemade Christmas cake so strictly speaking I'm having a couple of shots of disaronno with it. Decided on that rather than whisky for a change.

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
