Hi Daved1,

Private Message me your full name and address and I'll post a mug and pen out to you.

I have no plans at the moment for car stickers. It's something we've done in the past but feedback from members suggest it's not something that would be widely used.

The price of 1 car sticker costs £5.99 and to be honest I think it's overpriced.

Thanks Aviador, I have PM'd you my details. I would be happy to pay £5.99 for the greater cause of the form but I am sure others wouldn't and having just a few printed may well be even more expensive.

I'm not sure if there is anybody on here into diving but a company in Turkey have bought an old A300 and sunk it into the sea in a hope to attract more tourists.

Does anybody know what level you need to reach to get the next points upgrade? I've been stuck on 113 for what seems like forever! :shifty:

This is all I can find Ray.

I'm on 93 points, 20 below you. From the table, I'll receive 20 points on my 1000th post. I see you have over 5000 posts, but don't appear to get an additional 20 points for each extra 1000 posts.
Our good friend TheLocalYokel has over 8000 posts, but is still on 113 trophy points.
Maybe that's it Ray. Perhaps you've hit the ceiling.

But please, don't let that stop you from posting.

Regards

Kevin

Hi everyone, just in case you are new to the forum, this time of year is traditionally the quietest time for the forum as people are spending more time with family and friends during the holiday season. If your airport thread or forum is looking quiet at the moment why not add something to spark interest? Alternatively, if you have some news to share with us, add it to one of our threads. If it's good enough we'll feature it on our homepage.

Has the what are you listening to now thread been moved?

I was looking for it last night but couldn't seem to find it, even with a search?

Very nice, from what I remember it's a decent one.

I seem to flit between Laphroig and Talisker which are my two favourites. I did have a bottle of Arbelour bought for me a few Christmases ago and it was rather nice indeed.

Has anyone tried the single malt's on offer from LIDL?

I've not had the pleasure yet but they get very good reviews. I might treat myself tomorrow.

I'm not much of a whiskey drinker. Much prefer cider and the best one i've tasted was made just outside Sonora in California. It's called Indigeny Reserve and unfortunately for me is only sold in California and Nevada!:(

Laphroig is too peaty/smokey for me.Glenmorangie or Glenfiddich is more to my taste.
If peaty whiskey is your thing, then there is a peaty version of the Ardmore shown in the picture above.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
