Adel is a couple of miles East of the 14 climb out and it's never really noisy there. People who think the world revolves around them and their desires just do my head in.

I really hope he isn't planning on sleeping in tomorrow morning given there are 8 departures scheduled before 0700. Probably off 32 so nowhere near Adel but the guy clearly has very keen hearing so his day may still be ruined.

I lived in Adel for a number of years only hearing the aircraft when landing on 32 usually when engaging full reverse or on go arounds.

I cannot for the life of me remember hearing departures on 14.

Before even beginning to read this article, a picture of the airport is featured in the Yorkshire Evening Post AKA Gutter Press even though there is no mention of the airport in the article headline. The rag title reads "The 13 worst places to park in Leeds - including Crossgates Shopping Centre and Elland Road", so why didn't they choose a photo of one of those places first? Yet again, lets just focus on LBA to draw attention to all those passengers looking to go on holiday abroad this summer.

Last night on Look North (East) covering Lincolnshire had a positive report by Spencer Stokes on Leeds/Bradford Airport regarding the security scanners, every passenger spoken to where impressed with both the equipment and staff.

Perhaps, but otherwise this isn't a new article. At least they haven't attempted to put a negative spin on it but it's so lazy just pinching an article from another paper.
