If it is delayed lets hope they don’t cut any corners and the guys in charge need to keep their eye on the ball.Does that mean the constructors have penalties if completion is delayed!!
I’m also in favour of humour but, in future, can jokes be posted in a thread specific for that purpose? Please. Enough of the 'humour'. Seriously, it's tiresome and painful.
Part of the walkway ( the bit that is beyond the Eastern limit of the extension) will be retained and the rest removed. The plan is to then replace the remaining bit with a two storey pier with holding lounges as a future project (which will need planning approval so no doubt will take forever to do).Back to the thread, I assume the covered walkway in front of the extension will go to allow direct access from the new gates to the apron. Will that mean the whole walkway being removed, or will the potential retained bit have access from the extension? If not I assume that will mean more bussing.
The pier can be built under permitted development rights without planning permission.Part of the walkway ( the bit that is beyond the Eastern limit of the extension) will be retained and the rest removed. Are you sure? If the airport wants forward holding areas it might require planning permission? The pier can be built under permitted development rights without planning permission.
Yes I am sureAre you sure? If the airport wants forward holding areas it might require planning permission?
Funny how the article says "the plans have also been criticised by the Green Party", implying a second group. The founder member of the anti airport group also ran as a Green Party candidate for the council.![]()

Claiming to be environmentalists is a charade. The only environment they seem to be bothered about is their own. Climate Activists don't sit there counting night time movements. Nimbys do.Maybe they should fight against DSA reopening then the boring losers
