Nope. I posted a comment about the video, which I had out on their Facebook page, but my comment wasn't read out. The ones before and after were, so it seems that maybe there is a policy of not mentioning anything viewed as possibly contentious. Normally, I would say my comment was just missed, but it has happened each time I have posted about it, which seems a bit of a coincidence.
Considering they benefit so much from the airport the least they could do is to encourage their viewers.

Is there any way to contact Nick directly?

Not sure whether there is anything in it or not, but tonight, someone in Blue Sky Aviation's live stream at LBA, stated that having spoken to Jet2 staff on the South Side, there is talk of A321s at LBA from next March (not NEOs).

Well we shall see. If 2 x 733s are retiring, we need a couple of something to replace them.
I called this a while ago as to whether LBA could become the retirement home for the CEOs. Good opportunity to test the waters prior to what will have to eventually be NEOs - even if talking several years. The CEOs regularly sub without issue and seriously the 733s are becoming a real issue. So wouldn't surprise me one bit if this happened

And as Jet2 have 3 CEOs then I would suggest it's going to be all 3 or none at all

Not really. I sent him a message on FB when the application was first made to see if it was ok to post about it, but as he isn't FB friend, it only went to his message request inbox which he may not look at. Anyway, I didn't get a reply.

Judging by comments seen, not everyone on there is in favour, and when I did post, it didn't attract much positive interest at all.

To be fair, it is Nick and Tom's stream and I can understand if they don't want people arguing over it. It's a friendly group and it would be a shame, and damaging for them, if people with differing views started an open debate which would probably turn ugly Chances are the Mods, who are lovely, would step in, but the damage would be done.

Good news is that this appears to have changed and is now staying to operate flights tomorrow.

Currently down to operate the LS271/2 LBA-ALC spin at 07:00 then the LS265/6 LBA-AGP at 15:45

Likely as there’s still 2 737-300s tech.
Currently in the air returning from ALC, due into LBA at 13.54.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
