Something going on again? 3 currently in the hold, LS from REU, U2 from BFS and T3 from AMS. The LS just starting its 3rd circuit.

EDIT: Looks like whatever it was has been resolved, all 3 holding aircraft now making their approach.

Was the HER divert due to adverse weather? I take it the passengers are being bussed back to LBA?
Not sure. Everything else landed. Perhaps it had insufficient fuel should it end up in the hold so went straight up there to top up.

I did notice a 738 of Jet2 passing over LBA from the NE then landing an hour or so ago, which I assumed was this aircraft coming back. Whether it was, and whether the pax were still on board, I couldn't say.

Update. It was this aircraft and still Operating as LS444 down from NCL, so presume the pax were flown down.

London ATC has gone down which has affected departures from LBA and most other UK airports.

Currently the EasyJet Europe A319 OE-LQJ operating the Malaga Turn is diverting to Bristol I’m assuming they don’t have enough fuel to get to LBA due to holding.

The Jet2 to Paphos is stopping over in Athens to fuel before continuing to Paphos.

This afternoons arrival and tonights night stopper from AMS cancelled, of course that means tomorrow mornings early departure is also cancelled.

HUY and MME have operated as scheduled.

AMS seems to be operating normally. No other cancellations that I can see.

Maybe the city hopper crew was stretched and as we are currently back with KLM (presume a spare) they may have been over stretched. (not sure if this is the reaosn but could be the ATC related yesterday).

Shame, however noticeably KLM running better then Eastern did. Anyone know how long KLM are due to be back on the route?

You would have thought they would have prioritised a substitute aircraft to ensure two flights 'on the trot' werent cancelled.

Looks like Monday mornings Emerald BHD and DUB flights are already cancelled. Clearly a reflection of the approaching Storm Floris. Oh the Great British Summer!
Clearly due to the weather, or potential weather in Ireland, as LBA is OK for now. Just wet. Emerald still have an aircraft u/s after a nose down heavy landing at BHD and a couple of other less than pleasant landings in high winds, so looks like they're being cautious.

Understanding the limitations of the aircraft they operate.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
