Dunno, but several departing flights were suddenly delayed by up to an hour at tea time.

A.321Neo 9H-WDP(Wizz Malta 2B) departed Bucharest on time this morning heading for LBA, however 40 minutes later it landed back at Bucharest. The aircraft is now airbourne again at estimating LBA at 1030, almost 3 hours late.

Both B733 G-GDFO and B738 G-DRTO are tech so the Airbus has come in to operate the Corfu replacing DRTO

GDFO should have gone to the scrapyard years ago but she just keeps on getting reprieved. When CELI started playing silly buggers she was very quickly pensioned off

Difference is GDFO didn't have the same problem 2 times in about a month and didn't get bad publicity from the tabloids

I agree though, GDFO should be the first to go, though it pains me to say as I've flown her twice

The airport is still not open this morning due to a tractor with siezed brakes disabled on the grass at the side of the runway. It is too closed to the runway to allow departures. Mechanics are working on the problem but there is still no time line for the removal. Around a dozen aircraft are waiting patiently for news.
