Travelled yesterday afternoon from Liverpool to Kos with Jet2. Check-in process was very efficient, plenty of friendly staff on hand to help,
The flight itself a 737 800, was pretty much full, I sat towards the front in row 8, I always go for a window, which I still enjoy looking out of. We departed about 30 mins late, impacted slightly by French ATC strikes. I ordered a meal which arrived not too long after take off, it was tasty and as it must have been about 6pm by then I was ready for a meal, tea came with the food.
My only complaint was the table size is tiny, and it doesn't move towards you, it really is a bit precarious trying to eat with knife and fork in a situation like this. This was highlighted as a bit later the drinks trolly came back. We said we would have a G and T each, but could the food box and tea cup go as there was no space. The cabin crew member said he would , so we bought the drinks, and the crew member went to the galley. I expected him to return to collect the used items but didn't. My partner became desperate for his drink, and promptly lost it in his lap, as it fell off the table. I was annoyed by this, because it wouldn't have happened had the crew member done what I asked. I rang the bell, and complained. Jet2 redeemed themselves by returning with paper towels and two more replacement drinks each FOC . Luckily it wasn't red wine. The crew made the right decision here to keep passengers happy.
