We paid for private transfers through Jet2 for our transfers from Costa Adeje back to Tenerife South airport. The transfer was on time. On the way to the airport we received a text informing us of delays at check-in and security at the airport. There was a long queue was passengers using the self service check in machines. This wasn't a problem for us but it didn't seem as efficient as in 2022 when we last visited the airport.
The security procedure was quick and it felt more efficient than at LBA on outbound journey.
The departures seemed busy. There was a good variety of shops and a large duty free.
The flight landed slightly late but we boarded quickly.

The flight departed slightly late but the captain advised us we would make up time with a tailwind.

The flight was smooth all the way back and the crew were polite and attentive. 20240801_012203.webp
We landed in Leeds near enough on time and parked remotely but with buses on hand to take up back to the terminal. The arrivals was quiet with only our flight at that time but you could clearly see why LBA needs its new arrivals facility sooner rather than later.
All in all a great flight and a great experience with Jet2 and with LBA who despite having a small terminal things worked suppriseingly well.
Through Arrivals and home in less than 40 min.

Glad you had a nice time Aviador. And I bet after seeing the stuff going on in this country right now, you wished you and your family could get on the first plane back to Tenerife ?

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
