Its been like this for a few weeks, Royal Air Maroc ads seem to be most prevalent- promoting flights from Manchester.Nothing has been changed but we had a server outage yesterday morning which caused a few problems. If anyone has any particular issue, please pop a comment in the relevant thread in the feedback forum so it can be looked into.
And more to the point, in using the DSA forum on Forums4airports, you would be helping to support the forum as a whole and help it to grow.I personally have absolutely no interest in DSA. I am bewildered at the level of fascination by several LBA members. LBA should be able to be hold it's own whether or not, potential increased competition comes from a reopened DSA.
I get it on the LBA sub forum, but what you are suggesting is patently untrue. The reason it didn’t work before was because they failed to attract business away from competitors like LBA. Be under no illusion that the new business case is built around the same principles.I personally have absolutely no interest in DSA. I am bewildered at the level of fascination by several LBA members. LBA should be able to be hold it's own whether or not, potential increased competition comes from a reopened DSA.
I don't go on DSA forum as no interest in the place!!!!!!DSA news not LBA news
We all like to know about DSA?…..don’t give 2 hoots what goes on in a dusty airport. As this is leeds general thread and we all like to know about DSA have you seen look north tonight?

I understand your point but they will be after business from LBA and also with current expansion at LBA and MAN they will be eager to get moving quick and with their public subsidy will use these means’s to attempt airlinesI personally have absolutely no interest in DSA. There are more early departures between 0600 and 0700, probably necessary to get all daily flights in, and the aircraft back on the ground before the night closure, but this uses up more of the permitted 1200 winter night movements and will therefore reduce the unused 'carry over' into summer, (10%), thereby potentially also reducing the available night movements for summer. So they're likely to exceed the 'limit' according to some, by even more next year.Think I have counted there are 32 arrivals today at LBA during the period 0001 to 2359. Not at all bad for a winter Tuesday. Shows the real progress LBA is making which is only going to continue
Think you will find it quieter next week when the overnight closure begins on November11th.Think I have counted there are 32 arrivals today at LBA during the period 0001 to 2359. Not at all bad for a winter Tuesday. Shows the real progress LBA is making which is only going to continue
I've just had an ad, on here, for a taxi company advertising 'book a taxi to Doncaster Airport!'Un chuffing believable!! Look North banging on about DSA reopening and them who shall not be named moaning about night flight infringement in the same bulletin
Lol you should have tried a dummy booking.I've just had an ad, on here, for a taxi company advertising 'book a taxi to Doncaster Airport!'
Right now, and for the last 2 years, only a dummy would book to go there! Somewhat annoying though to be inundated with ads for taxis to DSA on the LBA forum. It seems almost intentional.Lol you should have tried a dummy booking.
