It's been pretty much the same for arrivals from Spain for a while now - pre arrivals test, PLF, day 2 & 8 test booking.

The only change recently is that those fully vaccinated in the UK/EU/US no longer have to self isolate after arriving from Spain and only need a day 2 test rather than a day 8. So for these people it is - pre arrivals test, PLF, day 2 test booking.
You would be surprised how many people i know that dont have a clue about whats required but like you say recently there has not been much change in requirements

Just seen somebody post on Instagram that Steph's packed lunch on C4, was filming from a helicopter from multiflight today, did anybody watch it on TV? wonder what they was doing

I’m not entirely sure of the capacity of that aircraft, but Seat guru says 132 pax if full. This suggests if that plane wasn’t scheduled for MME , then the passengers should have come the other way, as there were less of them to inconvenience. The flip side of the news is that the Teesside flight would have been about 1/3 full so obviously they were greatful of a few punters in their terminal :) Not knocking the place as Teesside airport was pleasant the times I have used it.

As HX3 has said, if 80 pax got shipped up to the MME flight it shows our LF's are pretty impressive, compared to there's, is really worth shouting about? however I do agree MME post a lot on social media/linked in/the press shouting about their airport. I wish LBA was a bit more proactive when it came to that. Just wish the press would support LBA more like other airports/local press does.

I see the north south money divide isn’t getting any better, i read the chancellor Rishi sunak has announces £300 million is being invested in a Thames free port
It’s only a new terminal we want passing

Dont forget we are getting a freeport of our own in the North at Teesport.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
