It's in Armley. Near Canal mills around there.
Thanks I didn't know that. Even back in the days of Alpha there were many occasions when they would bring the catering over from Manchester. Not realising a new facility had opened in Armley I just presumed they were still bringing it in.

You’re not allowed to moan….or post random things on the random section without a comment…work that one out. Anyway, I will post a random post on the random section later with a random comment…..mind you some random person may decide to delete my random comment.
If you keep randomly ranting on random threads you'll be classed as a troll and you WILL be banned.

Just a spot on the lack of social media promo etc (been mentioned about easyJet a few times) but Jet2 new route to RAK started last week and still nothing to mention / any promo from the airport.

The most easiest, engaging and interesting content people actually care about being missed. So easy but yet not quite possible.

Things are that slow at the moment that we should have a rename to "Tortoise for Airports"

That feeling I am sure though is down to the fact we are expecting some positive LBA announcements and impatience is possibly kicking in, so let's hope we don't have to wait too long for more positive news.
I was reading posts in the BHX forum where things have gone equally quiet so it's not just here.

Not specifically an LBA issue, but, it cheered me up. I just read a whole load of comments regarding Newcastle Airport, which is about to spend lots of money on a terminal extension, though not as much as LBA.

The comments were exactly those we get here, potentially even more negative. 'Rip off airport', 'even higher drop off charges and they're already £6', 'huge supplements', 'Cheaper from Teesside or Leeds', 'awful to get to', 'worst airport anywhere', 'ridiculous charges in the shops and bars, ''no public transport late at night'.......etc. Sound familiar? Only one or two positive comments. In fact, it made LBA comments seem pretty positive. And I always thought of Newcastle as an airport for LBA to aspire to!

What is it about airports that attracts every negative, self centred, moaning person on the planet to slag it off at every opportunity?

At last, the trees and bushes at the cemetery viewing area are cut back or gone. I understand there's now a view of the airfield and runway again, although I haven't yet ventured up to check. This is an issue I've raised several times at the ACC, but I know others have been persistent in engaging with the airport and councillors about this, so well done and thank you to them .

Thats great. Charles Johnson told me he had engaged with the council so that the trees on airport AND council land would be cut down, I didnt believe him about the latter but Im really pleased its now been done.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
