LBA have been asking Eastern to use the ATR on all Newquay flights. The demand is there and it could not only increase passengers on the route, but enable lower fares too, which in turn generates yet more demand. The ATR has to be much cheaper to operate overall than the J41!

C'mon Eastern give us more! to be fair I'm quite happy NQY is 5 weekly, good frequency. does anybody know what Eastern financial state is like? they always seem to be plodding along. think they could base an ATR and do JER, IOM & ABZ on the side, even some French niche routes could be a good shout.

Not sure what's happening but Eastern Airways 6x weekly (Mon-Fri & Sun) Leeds/Bradford - Southampton no longer on sale after Sunday, March 6th 2022. The Leeds/Bradford - Newquay route remains on sale with 5x weekly flights (Mon, Wed-Fri & Sun) restarting from Friday, March 25th 2022 using the based BAe Jetstream 41 aircraft

Surely the based aircraft its not sitting around doing nowt, Could it possibly be swapping for a London Gatwick Route?

Still need something to Op NQY though so doesn’t explain those flights being on sale. BHX and SOU to GIB removed but can’t expect us to see an E175. Maybe they are going to take on EI on BHD in between a NQY rotation and SOU to be op by a SOU based ATR72. Damn alarm clock - interrupted me in full flow there
