It’s been seen at HUY too, it’s a shame but I fear the pressure from various more environmentally concerned corners in Netherlands politics is having an impact on the levels of service provided, along side the aircraft issues in general and accelerated by Covid and all the staffing issues that ensued. And so many cancelled for no apparent reason. I can understand if the weather conditions at AMS and/or LBA are outside operating limits, but many do not appear to have been cancelled for that reason. The service has become so unreliable.
What we must remember here is that KLM are pretty much the only airline that serve the U.K. regions with such a seamless interline facility with a comprehensive range of onward connections. I don’t think much is made of that and I think it’s imperative that this link is maintained, so if this means using T3 and German Airways to allow it to continue then so be it, it’s far better than the alternative.
