It's unlikely at present that LBA will have any based aircraft in the next two years that are noise exempt. Initial Jet2 A321NEOs are likely to go to MAN, BHX and STN so I would guess 2025 before LBA get any of them.Just to clarify, for a non techy like me, do the number of night movements you say LBA are expecting include the newer, quieter aircraft expected to be switched in , particularly for Jet2, or some existing types or is that too early to know for sure.
No sign of Ryanair swapping their 738s for MAXs either, so as things stand all night movements will count towards the quota except delayed flights up to 0100 and turboprops.
However, the challenge by they who shall not be named against the night quota could result in things changing.
