Larnaca now bookable for Summer 2018 until 27 October.

Tu/Th/Sa - 3 times per week as this year.

Great to see it back! Would be a real missed opportunity if they closed the route after Monarch going into administration.

Fares are higher than last year (£196 return in May 2018 - we paid £105 with them for the same dates in 2017) but definitely reasonable, and a good 1/3rd cheaper than Jet2. Booking now!

New Sunday Larnaca added for next summer making it 4x weekly.

It will operate on Tue, Thur, Sat and Sun.

With no Cobalt and Monarch that is 8 Larnaca flights gone each week. Still a few more needed to replace all of them.

I suppose it depends if all of them need replacing?

Over capacity seems to have been an issue this year with great load factors but lower yields, Larnaca looks to have been one of those that suffered.

When we flew with Monarch we never flew peak season but the planes were always quite full. As we know though full planes do not necessarily make that much money.

Hopefully the current schedules are sustainable.

Great to see Blue Air increase flights to Larnaca.

I still would like to see Blue Air base a 737 at BHX along with the aircraft promoting a special livery for "BIRMINGHAM 2022 Commonwealth Games"

Cyprus is in the commonwealth right ??
They would only be able to keep it for five years though before it got dated. Maybe a Birmingham Heavy Metal livery? Somehow featuring the Rotunda and Selfridges too? 🙂

haha maybe a little ahead of yourselves, but this is good news, hopefully more to come from blue air?

After losing major competition from Monarch (6 x weekly to LCA last summer), Blue Air’s prices have gone sky high.

My parents paid £250 in May with nothing added on, and prices for August for a week, without luggage etc, is £650 each. What?! You can fly to Asia for less than that!

I paid £115 with BA from Heathrow this May. Sorry BHX but I can’t justify flying to Cyprus from here anymore....👎

I dont blame you mate.

The joys of supply and demand ....the good news from this is the fact that demand obviously exists. Unfortunately without monarch, the supply isn’t there meaning sky-high prices...

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
