One thing that really bugs me about the Primera website, is that whenever I look at it I'm greeted with 'Direct Flights from London' and the STN destinations shown below

The Sun had an article about Primera's long haul routes, it said that 'all flights depart from London Stansted'!

Gealth?

I personally think this is exactly the type of marketing Primera needs to be doing. Great to see

Not sure if i'm missing a point but it's words describing the all important numbers isn't it?
My point is there are no figures.Just saying A is doing better than B is like saying Burton Albion are doing
better than Sunderland.Without more info.you will not be aware both are in the S**t.
I have no idea how well Primera are doing and i hope they are selling lots of seats.

The market is there at BHX for TATL. Primera will do well in time, I will say as I have said before. Stansted is a transatlantic graveyard.
Unless Ryanair enter the TATL market and run a hub and spoke to obscure regions to Europe and enter into an agreement with someone like South West to connect through their TATL hub in the US to the more obscure regions of the state's......makes one wonder....well It makes me wonder.

They are assigning 2 x B757s to the STN operation which seems odd if the demand is from Birmingham?

As an aside that will be 3 aircraft types for 2018.

Any idea if the 757s will be for transatlantic or the sun routes?

Correct me if I’m wrong but my understand is that these 2x B752s are not extra capacity, they are purely there to meet current capacity as there is no chance that all 6 A321s will be ready for the start of the routes.

The B752’s won’t be additions to the TATL STN bass, they WILL be the base!!!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
