Does anyone really think we will get anything further from U2 for next year then? Certainly won't be a base (yet) but they have steadily increased BFS so seem committed so forever hopeful!

Which reminds me, on the subject of U2, I bought a U2 satnav at the weekend which is absolutely useless because "The Streets Have No Name" and "I still haven't found what I'm looking for"

Tuesday, May 21st could be a day to look out for, as that’s the day EasyJet start to release their summer 2025 schedule.

Unfortunately doesn't look like today was the day. Hopefully they still have more to load/release..........

Since they've announced that BEG has been binned I've not seen any announcements that LBA or anywhere has taken up the slack. Are they waiting for something or has it fallen through?

Seems that's the new route by Jet2, only from BHX, MAN and LBA though. A previously totally unserved part of Spain from LBA located between Gibraltar and Faro and not too far from Seville.

Jerez it is. operates between 2nd May- 1st November 2025 believe it will be a weekly flight.

LHR with a BA A319 with a 7 am departure and a 5 pm departure would be nice to start with…one can only hope and dream.

Cadiz and the coast around there are well worth a trip - will be booking one!

Spent a day in cadiz, lovely city with of course plenty of history to it. Also good to see LBA gain a new destination along side just MAN and BHX.

Sanlúcar de Barrameda is a good spot too, it gets lots of day trip Spanish from Seville as much cooler in the height of summer. Huelva, Isla Canela and Islantilla are within a reasonable travel time, but to be fair Faro is easier for those. Good addition to the Jet2 destination list though.
