Unfortunately, according to the ACL website, the report for Leeds are only available by contacting ACL.
I'll try making a call on Monday to a contact that I have, but no promises as to the outcome.
Okay I have checked with my contact and ACL only produce Start of Season Reports for Level 1 & 2 airports - Leeds is Level 2. Initial Reports are only done for Level 3 airports.

Would be a great addition on top of the recent Sun Express announcement. I understand PLAY have applied for MAN and BHX slots so not sure if we would be in with an immediate chance, although fairly long standing rumours around that they are. Once again likely to be at non-busy times so would be another good fit

Id say we are in with a good chance, why operate from MAN when you already have icelandair and easyjet on the route, and why would play want to dilute their LPL service with the 2 airports been so near? Id bet on BHX or/and LBA.
Certainly the 24th is a date to keep an eye on.

Jet2 also operate this route in winter. LBA makes logical sense to me. fingers crossed

Wasnt it posted that Jet2 were going to serve Rejkavik year round? If so Play would compete with them on point to point.
 
Been a good couple of weeks for Route Development at LBA. Aer Lingus Winter increases, KLM 4th daily increase, EZY BFS increase, more Jet2 & the great announcement of Sun Express. This one is way overdue and up there on my wish list. Can’t believe our 1960’s terminal has managed to attract all of the above with all of its problems it has.. no new airline was ever going to look at us or operate from here with it.. (eye roll)

And before any of the DSA brigade get involved and saying it should have gone to them (with all the other laughable posts and claims they make) it shouldn’t. Todays news sees SEN up for sale, I wonder what their response is to that. It’s a challenging time for airports around the UK at the moment and LBA is so far riding the storm quite well. Sooner this new extension gets started on the better.

My next few for the wish list:

Both TK and LH are star alliance, surely it would be one or the other?
 
Judging by other airports around the world, upgraded terminals please travellers but have no effect on attracting new airlines, except where slot availability is involved.

Many routes on this wishlist should be possible. A3 very unlikely and BA are, apparently, not contemplating a return. TK’s list of new destinations for the next 10 years includes just 2 UK destinations - BRS and GLA (NCL seems to have been dropped). LH more likely than AF given the KLM presence, but given the CAA stats suggest the LPL route is struggling, they might well be cautious.
 
I'm sure that in their discussions with new airlines, LBA are extolling the virtues of how the terminal will be in a few years time, and giving airlines the chance to come in and get established ahead of potential competition later. The Sun Express arrival and departure times are, in any case, perfect for LBA, being the time of day when the airport is almost devoid of commercial movements with the exception of the odd Ryanair .

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
