Well Both Transun Travel and Canterbury travel have released details off there festive 2012 trips up to Lapland. This year will also see the introduction of a New Years trip up to Lapland for the very first time from Leeds/Bradford.

This past festive season saw flights been operated by both Strategic Airlines and Jet2.

Lapland short breaks
MON, 03/12 – FRI 07/12 = Transun 4 Night Heavenly Peace
FRI, 14/12 – SUN 16/12 = Transun 2 Night Santa’s on his way
SUN, 30/12 – WED 02/01 = Transun 3 Night For Auld Lang Syne & Happy New Year

Lapland Day Trips
SAT 08/12 = Transun Winter Wonderland
SUN 09/12 = Canterbury Echanting
FRI 21/12 = Transun Winter Wonderland
 
Cruise company Hurtigruten have just confirmed that they will once again be offering one of there 12 night Classic Northern Lights Cruises with direct flights to Bergen from Leeds/Bradford again departing on 6th February 2013.

Prices start from £1372 per person and are bookable at www.hurtigruten.co.uk.

Good news, Due to the success of this years first Arctic Sprit ski trip to Sweden back February, Transun Holidays have just announced that they will be offering 3x Arctic Sprit trips from Leeds/Bradford for this coming winter 2012/13 season.

Flights will operate in to Kiruna again and most likely by Jet2.com http://www.transun.co.uk

4+ Nights = Departs SUN, FEB 17th and returns THU, FEB 21st
7+ Nights = Departs SUN, FEB 24th and returns SUN, MAR 3rd (Operates via Edinburgh)

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
