With the big day tomorrow Emirates-wise, it'll be interesting to see how the folk of the West Midlands react to the return of the 'elephant' compared to its inaugural flight by A6-EOR in 2016. There was 'standing room only' in Sheldon Park and the multi-storey car park, with plenty also in the main car park and on the hill by Bickenhill. The crowds waited patiently for the takeoff too!
Also, will it have a water salute welcome this time? And will they put the downwind fire engine a bit closer this time if it's another windy day?
probably won't, but as a very special 'new' visitor it might get a quick spurtI doubt it will get a water salute as it's not an inaugural flight.
I don't anticipate huge crowds, but nice to see it back.
Sorry this isn't related - what is the work going on in the fields behind the runway that you can see on the vids? See a few diggers - is it HS2?
