Seen as we have had alot of green/amber destinations announced /changed, has anybody decided to boko anywhere for summer? or do people think its too messy / no confidence?

i personally fancy BHD/BFS not sure if you have to have neg tests etc though.

No requirement for tests or forms when travelling around the UK so it’s basically as normal.

Jersey is also an interesting pick, no tests or forms required when coming back. I think you need to fill in a form going there, and on arrival there if fully vaccinated it’s a test when you land (free) and no self isolation.

Ireland is the same in terms of no requirement for tests or forms when coming back to the UK. When going there if fully vaccinated you just need to fill in their passenger locator form.

it gets very confusing but thank you for the informative reply, so to confirm if i went to N.I i wouldn't have to test / fill any forms? just "normal" travel?

correct, no forms or tests going around the UK at all, and that included NI.

Double jabbed so I’m out of here as soon as I can!!

Malaga, Spain at the end of the month then possibly Dalaman, Turkey in September both with Jet2.

Plucked up the courage to boked a Belfast trip end of Sept due to no travel resections/forms/tests.. BA outbound and EZY inbound (hoping for A320 NEO) I would be very lucky though..!

Since FR are no longer doing LBA-ALC for W21, we have just booked 3 seats on Jet2, LBA ALC for end of Oct - 1st week of Nov. hopefully can squeeze another trip out of this year if finances let me..!

if I was easyJet and looking to expand / low risk routes, ALC - LBA would be on my radar if FR is dropping off the route.

agree with you re alc, if easy jet did start that route i would bet FR would be straight back on with some
very low fairs to kill easy on that route.

The likes of ALC, AGP, TFS, ACE can easily sustain 3 operators like when we had ZB, FR & LS on routes

They can in normal times, but things still are not normal. I am sure Ryanair will be back on ALC next summer, but can't see any other airline being brave enough to add a 3rd on the route. Yet.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
