I found this video of a similar event in the canary islands. The pilot didn't go around on that occasion either.

We have to assume that the crew knew the situation, how much concrete was left compared to how much they needed based on weight, and once they finally touched down they were happy they had sufficient room to stop given the dry conditions.. Otherwise, they would almost certainly have gone around.LPA landing distance is 1.2-1.3km longer than ours, so lots more margin. They're also still 30ft off the ground over the T/D markers, so either they got hot and high on approach, or he genuinely wanted to land late, but either way clearly not a problem. Our Jump Air pilot, though, was clearly aiming to touch down in the T/D zone. You don't float that low for that long intentionally.
Did he leave enough margin? Hard to say. Was it unsafe? Perhaps. Was it fine in the end? Yes.
24 minutes inWhere can the LBA landing be viewed?
I once watched a BMR ERJ135 from BRU touch down opposite the fire station - it was landing on 32… a bit gusty but seemingly safe.
At the very least there seems to be a training and supervision issue...too many holes lining up too often....Aurigny need to find alternatives
It seems that someone at Jump Air who are flying for Aurigny has messed up. Same airline of course that landed somewhat late on 14 earlier this summer.
Rumours elsewhere that both NQY and LPL will not be seeing GR in 2025. I hope we still see them at LBA. Apparently all to do with increasing operational reliability.
The States of Guernsey have also apparently recommended the merging of Blue Islands and Aurigny so could be some interesting times ahead here
My exclamation marks said it all anyway, re ifIF LM appear (emphasis on the IF)
