Olympus A321 SX-ABY arrived earlier from AMS to operate for TUi, initially until July I believe but depending on what happens with the MAX it may well change.

This aircraft is ex G-MARA of Monarch.

Incidentally another ex Monarch A321, SX-ACP (previously G-OJEG), positioned to MAN.

G-ZAPX is operating for Thomas Cook to Heraklion today after arriving from EMA yesterday.

Air Malta's first flight of the season will be 9H-AEO in the special "Valletta" livery.

TUI have drafted in Privilege Style 757 EC-ISY which seems to have replaced one of the Olympus planes for the time being.

SX-ACP is back at Manchester and is busy along with an Alba Star B737 EC-NAB

G-POWH is now operating for TUI, currently departing to MLA after doing FAO this morning.

Turkish have an A321 on their afternoon flight 👍

Wamos Air A332 EC-LNH and Titan B763 G-POWD currently operating for TUI, must be costing them a fortune with all these sub chartered aircraft, and plenty of ferry flights in and out of the airport too

A332 CS-TQW has arrived and is operating the Saturday (25th May) am Ibiza for TUI
A nice ride for some lucky travelers!
An interesting paint scheme too, it has the same theme as their A380 scheme raising awareness of plastic in the ocean.

It's now operating the TUI flight to Las Palmas but unfortunately the Titan and Wamos planes have positioned out to STN and MAD.

This mornings Iberia was an A321. I'm guessing this is champions league related?

The Czech Prague service has been pretty much taken over by 737s, almost all Smartwings but many of which still have the colours of former airlines, we have had an ex Eastern Airlines 738 in the last couple of days and are seeing an AirExplore 738 today (which is much less colourful).

FR24 shows Eurowings using D-ABDU on their morning DUS tomorrow which is another interesting scheme.

Wamos Air B744 EC-MDS just about to depart Madrid as TOM911P for Birmingham, due to be based all weekend for TUI, maybe Sir Ray might be flying back on it from Gran Canaria on Saturday evening?

one for the spotters this weekend!! :finger:

But it's not in your timetable 😆

I wonder where you copied this from . . . .

Weird. Use the Madrid filter on FR24 and the Wamos is showing. Put the BHX filter on and there is nought.

I have just received an email from TUi advising us that our flight tomorrow will be operated by Wamos so came on to see if it would be another A330.

Sadly the TUi email said this was 'to avoid any delay to the start of your holiday', obviously just a cut and paste but when we're ready to come home why rub it in 🙂

EC-MDS now on its way to LPA, one hour delayed. Looking online this morning there are some fairly dreadful reviews of people's past flights on it. Will be interesting to read Ray's opinion.

How cool catching a ride on the "Queen of the skies" 😍

How did TUI manage to get hold of a Wamos 747 with that important football match taking place today.🤔

Looking forward to hearing your report Ray.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
